The Greek Parliament has agreed that the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia – its name for the country to the northwest of Greece since the break-up of Yugoslavia in 1991 – can now be called the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

Alternative winter break service programs, organized by the ��ݮ��Ƶ Max A. The Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center is pleased to announce Amy Leventer, Orville Whitnall Professor of geology, as the 2018 winner of the Goldthwait Polar Medal in recognition of her distinguished record of scholarship and service in polar science.

Last month, the Student Government Association along with the Center for Leadership and Student Involvement, career services, and the computer science department banded together to send 10 ��ݮ��Ƶ students to the Grace Hopper Celebration in Houston, Texas.

With a litany of thanks for the supporters, architects, designers, engineers, and staff who made it all possible, ��ݮ��Ƶ officially dedicated Benton Hall during a ceremony on September 28. The building was named after lead donor and alumnus Dan Benton '80.
