Since joining ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ in 1982, Harsin has shown commitment to the university’s values of teaching, scholarship, and university service. With specialties in European history, the history of France and the French Revolution, and women’s history, she has been centrally involved in interdisciplinary teaching, especially in ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's Core curriculum and in women’s studies. She also teaches courses in early modern Europe, the experiences of women in history, and modern European social history.
