On the first day of classes, faculty and staff members from across campus brought their dogs to the Academic Quad for a meet and greet with students. The event was sponsored by the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Activities Board and was part of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s Welcome Weeks.
Lily, a Labrador mix. Lily's person is Georgia Frank (religion). She is nine years old, a former member of the Hamilton College Counseling Center, and has her own Instagram account. @lily.mcarn
Mona is an English Setter. She is one-and-a-half years old. Her person is Pam Lewis, physician's assistant in the Student Health Center. Mona learned to kayak this summer.
Rondi is a Labradoodle. Her people are Edie MacPherson, program coordinator for the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Speaking Union and Campus Life, and Corey MacPherson, University chaplain and Protestant campus minister. Rondi is nine years old.
Tree is a Labrador Retriever. Her people are Timothy Collett, technology support analyst, and Marsha Collett, program coordinator for CLSI. Tree is seven months old and is training to be a guide dog. All of the dogs in her litter have names that start with “T.â€
Wilbur is a Redbone Coonhound, his person is Peter Scull (geography). He is the same breed as the dogs in Where the Red Fern Grows.
